How to Make a Button Flower Pin

How to make a fabric flower

This Button Flower Pin is a simple fabric scrap craft that anyone can make.  A few scraps of fabric, a decorative button and a pin back is all you really need for this easy to make craft. I created this craft as an addendum to my dishcloth apron but decided to make it a stand alone post.  This is a fun and cute little craft project to make. A faux diamond button works great for this project and gives it a little pizzazz.

Raid your scraps for this one.  I did.  Normally I head to JOANN Fabric & Craft Stores, Fabric.com, Hobby Lobby or onlinefabricstore.net for my fabrics but this project only requires scraps so there is no need to purchase extra if you have a stash of scraps like I do.  This post contains affiliate links that if you click on them and make a purchase I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.  As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Step 3: Hand Stitch the Curve

Hand stitch using running stitch the curve of the the first fabric quarter using a very long double thread.  Remember to leave a long tail. Continue to stitch each of the quarters together using running stitch.  Pull the thread so that the curves bunch up.
