How to Make Fabric Acorns

It is Autumn and time for fall decorating.  This year I decided to make these terrific fabric acorns to decorate my home.  They are super simple to make and add that little bit of autumn to any fall decor.  The key to these little gems are the natural acorn caps that you can buy from Amazon.  All you need are some fabric scraps, hot glue, and the acorn caps to create these charming little fabric acorns.  They will add color and texture to any decor and they are just really cute. What you will Need: How to Make Fabric Acorns

Step 1:  Cut out the fabrics

Using the pattern cut out the fabrics.  You will need two pieces for each acorn.

Step 2:  Sew the fabrics

Using a 1/4″ seam allowance sew around the bottom and sides of the fabrics leaving the tops open.  This is the acorn body. Turn it right sides out.

Step 5: Hot Glue the Caps

Place some hot glue in the center of the acorn caps and press onto the top of the acorn bodies you just made.  You have now finished your fabric acorns.  Make as many as you like to enhance your autumn decor.
