How to Make Christmas Grinch Wreath

I decided that the Grinch needed some airtime on the website today. I came across some Grinch Ribbon on Amazon and just had to have it. Then I had to think of something to do with it. So, I came up with a Christmas Grinch Wreath using that ribbon among other things. This was such a fun project. I just love it. Hint: I will be making a Grinch quilt soon. I can’t wait for that. What you will Need: How to Make a Christmas Grinch Wreath

Step 1: Add the Chenille Yarn

Wrap the yarn around the candy cane wreath forms. Attach it periodically with hot glue.

Step 2: Stuff One Glove

Take a little bit of fiberfill and stuff one glove to give it some dimension.

Step 3: Attach the Glove

Using a combination of hot glue and e6000 attach the glove to the bottom of the curved part of the wreath form.

Step 4: Add the Cuff

Cut the Dollar Tree microfiber mop pad long way about 2 1/2″ wide. Wrap the microfiber around the top of the glove using hot glue and e6000.

Step 5: Create a Large Bow

Using several different patterns and sizes of ribbon create a large bow. I used 4 different ribbons. I know that bow making can be difficult but I learned how to create the perfect bow every time by taking Southern Charmed Wreath’s bow making class. It was a terrific class that I highly recommend. If you would like to take the class head over to Southern Charmed Wreath’s here.

Step 6: Add the Bow

Using the attached wire, hot Glue and e6000 attach the bow to the long side of the wreath. Make sure it is nice and secure.

Step 8: Add the Red Ornament

Take the thumb and forefinger of the gloves and pinch them together. Add the string of the ornament in between the thumb and fore finger with the ornament so that the ornament is hanging down. Glue all three together using e6000 and hot glue. Once you added the ornament you have now finished your Christmas Grinch Wreath. How fun.
