How to Make a Wine Cork Christmas Angel Ornament
This is another really simple handmade Christmas ornament project. I just love these little wine cork angels. They are so simple to make and are just too cute for words. You get to drink the wine if you want to or you can buy the wine corks at your local craft store or at my affiliate Michael’s online. Either way this is a quick and easy Christmas angel that you can make yourself or with your children. Everything you need can be obtained at your local craft store or Michael’s for very little money which makes this project all the more fun. Get your craft supplies together and let’s get started on this one.

What you will Need:
- Cork
- Wooden head
- Twine
- Black Paint
- Pink Paint
- Red paint (Optional)
- Gold pipe cleaner
- Glue
Step 1: How to Make a Wine Cork Christmas Angel Ornament
The first thing I did was decorate the head. I simply added two black eyes and some rosy cheeks to my angel.

. Take the gold pipe cleaner and make a small circle that will act as the angel’s halo. Glue on the halo using craft glue.

Paint a small heart or star on the front of the wine cork for decoration. I painted a small red heart on my angel

Glue the head to the cork using wood glue.
Step 5: How to Make a Wine Cork Christmas Angel Ornament
Make the wings. Take a 34″ piece of twine and loop it around your hand. Take a piece of the pipe cleaner and divide the loops in two and twist the pipe cleaner. Cut off the excess. Next, use either the rest of the pipe cleaner as I did or some twine to wrap around the center of the wings to form a loop for hanging. Glue the wings to the body of the angel using either craft glue or hot glue. You have now completed your wine cork Christmas angel ornament.
