How to Make a Dollar Tree Christmas Centerpiece
How to Make a Dollar Tree Christmas Centerpiece
I love Dollar Tree crafts. They are fun, creative and inexpensive. This Dollar Tree Christmas centerpiece is super easy to make and everything comes from Dollar Tree with the exception of some paint and hot glue which you likely have on hand. When you go to Dollar Tree at this time of year you will always find a holiday floral section along with ribbons and numerous other craft pieces.
This year, I used a planter that I had previously gotten from Dollar Tree and spruced it up a bit. This planter is usually available in the summer. I like to stock up on these because they can be used for all kinds of things. If you would like to check out my Dollar Tree Succulents planter that I created earlier this year check out this post. This post contains affiliate links that if you click on them and make a purchase I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
What You will Need: How to Make a Dollar Tree Christmas Center Piece
- Dollar Tree Planter
- Dollar Tree Floral Foam
- Off white chalk paint
- Dollar Tree Silk Flowers
- Dollar Tree Plaid Ribbon
- Skewer or straw
- Dollar Tree Christmas Star ornament
- Dollar Tree Believe Ornament
Step 1: Paint the Center piece planter
Using the off white chalk paint, paint the outside of the planter. I used two coats. Let dry between coats.
Step 2: Add the ribbon
I found some 2 1/5″ wide red plaid ribbon at Dollar Tree that I used to wrap the planter. I wrapped one layer of ribbon around the planter and hot glued it as I went to secure. Adjust the ribbon if you need too
Step 3: Add the “Believe” ornament
I used the “Believe” ornament for one side of the planter. I attached the “Believe” ornament using hot glue.
Step 4: Add the centerpiece flowers
Place the floral foam into the planter. Separate the flowers from each other. Place the flowers randomly throughout the foam so that it pleases the eye.
Step 5: Place the ornament
Place the star ornament in the center.
