With Christmas not too far away I thought I would make a Radio Flyer Dollar Tree Red Wagon. This is a standard Dollar Tree project that I embellished with a Radio Flyer sticker that I made using a free SVG on my Cricut. I thought this wagon came out super cute. I added some Christmas items to really make this wagon festive. If you want more Dollar Tree craft tutorials head over to my Dollar Tree page. What you will Need: How to Make a Dollar Tree Red Wagon
- SVG you can get by clicking on this link
- 1 Dollar Tree baking pan
- 1 Dollar Tree spatula
- 4 Mason Jar lids
- 2 dowels
- Twine
- Imitation round mints
- Red Chalk Paint
- Black Chalk paint
- White Permanent vinyl
- Transfer tape
- Cricut
- Hot Glue
- e6000 glue
- Dollar Tree Christmas florals
- Dollar Tree Christmas ribbon
Step 1: Paint the Baking Pan
Using the red chalk paint cover the entire baking pan. Use two coats if you need too. Let the paint dry completely.

Step 2: Create the Stickers
Using your Cricut and the free SVG cut out two Radio Flyer stickers. Place them on both sides of the backing pan. If you are using the SVG remember to size it, remove the white background and weld the image. I sized my image 6 1/2″ W and 1″ H.
Step 3: Add the Stickers
Weed the excess vinyl from the image. Add transfer tape to the image and burnish completely so the image sticks firmly to the transfer tape. Transfer the image to the painted baking pan using the transfer tape.

Step 3: Prepare the Spatula
Start by tying the twine through the hole in the handle. Proceed to hot glue and wrap the twine all the way around the handle.

Step 4: Add the Spatula to the Baking Pan
Using both e6000 and hot glue attach the handle to the bottom of the pan on one short end so that the handle extends out. Let the glue dry completely.

Step 5: Paint the Mason jar lids
Start by painting the top of the lid white. Let the white paint dry. Paint black around the rim and sides. .

Step 6: Add the Faux Mints
Use both hot glue and e6000 to add the faux mints to the center of each Mason jar lid.

Step 7: Add the Dowels
Cut the dowels so that they measure the width of the pan. Glue the Mason Jar lids to the ends of the dowels using both glues. Let the glue dry. Again, using both glues attach the dowels to the bottom of the baking pan at the front and rear to act as wheels.

Step 8: Embellish the Wagon
Add the embellishments that you like. I used ribbon and florals to my wagon.
