I came across this wreath rail at Dollar Tree. I thought it was really cute. They had three types but I chose the one that says Love using a shamrock for the 0. With this in mind I decided to make a St. Patrick's Day Wreath Rail Wreath. I love how it turned out and it was so simple to do. I used paint that I had on hand along with some deco mesh, ribbon and St. Patrick's Day florals. This is a fun Dollar Tree craft. Step 1: Paint the Wreath Rail

I used acrylic paints to paint the wreath rail. Green, white and orange were the colors I chose. I used two different green colors and two different orange tones. I used black as well to highlight the shamrock and silver for the white. Paint patterns on the orange and green using the lighter colors.

Step 2: Prepare the Mesh

Cut your mesh into 4″ wide pieces. Roll the mesh toward the center from each side and clip. Create as many of these rolls as you think you will need. Attach another color of mesh to the first color rolling it in the same way. Connect the two mesh pieces together using a pipe cleaner. Create as many of these bundles as you need to cover the rails of the wreath rail.

Step 3: Attach the Bundles

Using the pipe cleaners attach the bundles to the rails so that all of the rails are filled.

Step 4: Add the Shamrock Picks

Cut down the wood part so that the pick fits snuggly into the mesh. Place a few of the shamrocks throughout the mesh.

Step 6: Add the Florals

Attach a few florals to the mesh to finish it off.
