It is lemon season so I thought to create this fun lemon wreath to celebrate lemons and lemonade. This is a really easy project that really brings summer to life. You can use it as a wreath for your door or as a wall hanging to pep up your home decor this summer. I purchased the components for this project at Amazon, Dollar Tree and Temu so it was quite inexpensive to make. If you like Dollar Tree crafts head over to my Dollar Tree page for many more.

Step 1: Cut out the Spokes

I used a Dollar Tree wheel wreath form. Using the wire cutters cut every other spoke out of the metal wreath form. This will create the wedges of the lemon.

Step 2: Glue on the Fabric

Using a variety of lemon themed fat quarters cover each wedge attaching the fabric using hot glue.

Step 3: Add the Twine

In order to define the wedges I hot glued the two rows of white twine to the remaining spokes.

Step 4: Paint the Home Sign

Using black chalk paint cover the word completely. Make sure it is completely dry.

Step 5: Add the Black and White Ribbon

I added black and white striped ribbon to the outside of the of the frame. Be careful here with the hot glue. I burned my fingers along the way.

Step 6: Add the Florals

Starting with the greens tie them together with floral wire. Then add the flowers and some lemon slices or lemons to the bunch. Hot Glue the bundle to the left side of the wreath.

Step 7: Create a Bow

I used a variety of lemon themed ribbon and my Bowdabra to create a multi-layered bow. Ifyou are not comfortable making bows head over to Southern Charm wreaths and take their bow making class.

Step 8: Add the Bow

Hot glue the bow to the center of the florals. Fluff out the bow.

Step 9: Add the Word

Hot glue the word to the wreath.

Step 10: Add the Hanger

I added a cake round to the back. Then, I added the hanger to the back. Hang the wreath and enjoy.
