How to Make Dollar Tree Valentine Tulips

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so I decided to make this super simple Dollar Tree project. These Dollar Tree Valentine Tulips are easy and inexpensive to make. They really are pretty and they never wilt. You can paint them any color you like. I chose varying Valentine’s day colors for my tulips. Step 1: Add the Foam Ball
I used two different size foam balls. Insert the pointy end of the skewer into the foam ball. This will be the center of the tulip.

Step 2: Glue the Spoons
I used eight spoons for each tulip. Hot glue the handle of the spoon to the skewer so that the foam ball is in the hollow of the spoon. Next, place the next spoon opposite the first. Then glue the two more spoons in the next to the first two. Once you have four spoons attached, glue another four spoons in between the others.

Step 3: Paint the Handles and Skewers
Using the green paint, color the handles and the skewers green. This will take multiple coats. Let the paint dry completely.

Step 4: Paint the Buds
Using any colors you like paint the buds. I used Valentine’s colors but any color will work.

Step 5: Add the Floral Foam
Place some floral foam into the bottom of the vase.
Step 6: Add Floral Tape
I added floral tape to the stems for a more professional look.

Step 7: Add the Tulips and Greenery
Cut the stems of the tulips to the length you want. Insert the tulips into the floral foam.
