What you will need: How to Make an autumn sunflower pillow
Step 1: Print the Pattern
Print the pattern in full size. Cut it out to create the petals of the sunflower.
Step 2: Cut out the Fabric
Cut 16 pieces of each of the yellow fabrics and the interfacing. Cut a brown circle that measure's 1″ larger than your pillow's diameter and one brown piece that measures 2″ larger than your pillow.

Step 3″ Fuse the Interfacing
Place the interfacing wrong sides together with sixteen of the petal pieces, eight of each color. Fuse the interfacing using a hot iron.

Step 4: Stitch the Petals
Place one fused and one unfused petal piece right sides together and stitch along the sides using a 1/4″ seam allowance. Leave the bottom open. Turn each petal right sides out and press. You could add some stuffing if you like. I didn't bother but it will look nice either way. Do this for all of the petals.

Step 5: Topstitch the Brown circle
Take the brown circle that is 1″ larger than your pillow and draw a grid with lines that are 1″ apart. I used yellow thread to really emphasize the grid but you can use any color you like.

Step 6: Add the Petals
Place the petals all the way around the brown circle so that the petals are facing toward the center, Start with one color leaving a space in between. Pin. Add the second color petals all the way around over the space you left between the first set of petals. Pin. Stitch the petals to the brown circle.

Step 7: create the Back of the Pillow
Take the second brown piece and cut it in half. Double fold the straight raw edge on each half creating a small hem.

Step 8: Add the back
Keep the petals folded in the center of the first brown circle. Place one half so that it is right sides down on top of the petals matching the raw edges and pin. Place the second half opposite the first so that the hems overlap. Stitch all the way around. Turn the piece right sides out. Insert the pillow and close the back.

Step 9: Add the Kam Snap
Place one half of the Kam Snap in the top center of one of the back halves with the button side facing out. Place the other half of the Kam Snap on the other brown half in the center so that the button part is facing in. That way the Kam Snap will close. . You have now finished your autumn sunflower pillow.
