How to Make Dollar Tree Christmas Votive Holders
As anyone who follows Sew Very Crafty knows, I love Dollar Tree crafts. I was in Dollar Tree the other day and came across these Votive holders. I have used them in the past for my making sharpie stained glass project but this time I had something else in mind. With all of the other Christmas craft items available at Dollar Tree I just had to make these Dollar Tree Christmas Votive Holders.
This is such a simple craft project that anyone can put together in no time. It literally only takes a few minutes. What you will Need: How to Make Dollar Tree Votive holders
- Dollar Tree Glass Jar Votive Holders
- Mod Podge
- White Glitter
- Twine
- Dollar Tree Jingle Bells
- Dollar Tree Greenery
- Hot Glue
- Dollar Tree votives
Step 1: Paint the Jar with ModPodge
Remove the lid and votive holder. Paint the jar with Mod Podege
Step 2: Add the glitter
Coat the entire jar with the glitter.
Step 3: Wrap the twine
Wrap the twine around the top of the votive holder. Hot glue the beginning and the end of the twine.
Step 4: Add the berries
Clip the Berrys from the greenery you purchased at Dollar Tree. Hot glue the berries to the twine.
Step 5: Join the jingle Bells to your votive
Take a small piece of twine and join two of the jingle bells by tying them at each end. Hot glue the bells to the front of the Berrys.
Step 6: Add the bow to your votive
Create a bow from the twine and hot glue it to the front of the Berrys and bells. Add the votive to the holder and replace the votive to the jar and you have finished your Dollar Tree Christmas votive.
