What you will Need: How to Make a Dollar Tree Lighted Decor Christmas Present

Step 1: Glue the Sides of the Box

Using the hot glue attach the shower curtain rings in three rows of three. Glue the top side to the bottom side. Create six panels. I used a glass work board to make sure that everything was lined up. Create six of these panels.

Step 2: Attach the Sides

Again, using hot glue attach the panels to create a cube. This is the basic Christmas present shape. Remember to keep everything square or the panels will not go together correctly

Step 3: Insert the Lights

Pick one side to be the back of the present. Feed the lights into the cube and attach the battery packs to the back using the hot glues.

Step 4: Add the Ribbon

Place one length of ribbon around the cube starting and ending at the top. Tie the ribbon. Add the second length of ribbon on the other side again starting and ending at the top. Tie on the top.

Step 5: Create the Bow

I used my Bowdabra to create a nice bow at the top. If you are a novice bow maker I recommend that you take Southern Charm Wreath’s bow making course. It is a great way to learn.
