How to Make a Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Wreath

I saw this wood plaque at Dollar Tree and it inspired me to create this fun Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Wreath. This is a super simple craft project that anyone with basic crafting skills can make. It was a really quick Easter craft to do. All you need is Dollar Tree craft items and a bit of time for this fun entrance to spring. Step 1: Remove the Twine

The plaque comes with a twine and beed hanger. Remove them. Remove the beads. Then, using the twine string the green and orange beads instead. Reattach the twine and beads to the plaque.

Step 2: Add the Plaque to the Wreath Form

Using hot glue attach the plaque to the 14″ wreath form so that it is centered on the wreath form.

Step 3: Add the Greens and Florals

Using the wreath form like floral foam insert the greens and florals into it. I started with the greens. I spread them throughout the outer portion of the wreath form. Then, I added the egg florals. I only had three so I used those. Next, I added the other florals to fill out the wreath.

Step 4: Add the Jute Carrots

I had six jute carrots which came in one package. I placed them in two groups of three on the top right and left side of the wreath using hot glue.

Step 5: Add the Bunny Head Pick

The bunny head had quite a long wood skewer, It needed to be cut down for this project. I cut it down and inserted it in the top center of the wreath. There was a wood carrot that came with the Easter garland. I hot glued it to the front of the bunny head to help hide the stick.

Step 6: Create and Add a Bow

I used my Bowdabra to create the bow for this project. Fortunately, I took the wreath making course offered by Southern Charm Wreaths. You can take the course here. In addition to Dollar Tree ribbon I used some ribbon I got at the Joann’s going out of business sale.
