What you will Need: How to Make a Dollar Tree Paper Towel Holder

Step 1: Cover the Bread and Cutting Boards

Dollar Tree has some black and white buffalo check vinyl. I used the vinyl to cover both sides of the boards. It is self adhesive so it is easy to do.

Trace the boards

Add the vinyl to the boards

Step 2: Paint the Dowel

Use some chalk paint or acrylic paint to cover the dowel.

Step 3: Screw the Dowel

Find the center of the Dollar Tree cutting board. Drill a pilot hole. Insert the screw through the pilot hole and into the bottom of the dowel. I used a long screw for stability.

Step 4: Paint the Heart

Step 5: Add the Heart

Using hot glue add the heart to the bread board in the upper center.

Step 6: Place the Boards Together

Using a combination of hot glue and wood glue attach the bottom front of the bread board to the back of the cutting board. Let set completely. I also added a few small screws to secure the pieces.

Step 7: Add the Bead or Knob

To decorate the top of the dowel add a bead or cabinet knob. I had a bunch of glass cabinet knobs in my stash so I used one of those.

Add the knob using hot glue.

Step 6: Create a Simple Bow

Create a simple bow and hot glue it to the top of handle of the bread board. Once that is done so are you.
