How to Make a Tie on Halloween Fabric Wreath
I have a bunch of scraps of Halloween fabric so I decided to make this tie on Halloween Fabric Wreath. This is a no sew project. It takes a wreath form and some fabric scraps and that is it. I headed over to Dollar Tree and purchased a 12″ wood wreath form for this project. You could use a foam wreath form for this project if you like or purchase I larger one from JOANN Fabric & Craft Stores or Michaels. I like the idea of just spending a dollar so I went with a smaller form. It is totally up to you. Either way this project will work just fine. I used a variety of scrap fabrics that I got from either JOANN Fabric & Craft Stores or Fabric.com but you could head to Hobby Lobby or onlinefabricstore.net to get exactly what you need for this project. Regardless about 2 yards of fabric cut into strips should work for this Tie on Fabric Halloween Wreath.
What you will Need: How to Make a Tie on Halloween Fabric Wreath
- 1 wreath form
- 1 yd each of orange and black print fabric
Step 1: Cut your Fabrics
Cut ___ strips of each of the orange and black fabric that measure 2″ x 12″.
Step 2: Wrap the wreath
Take each of the strips and fold them in half lengthwise. Wrap the strips around the wreath and tie twice. Open the strips a bit for fulness. I placed my strips in groups of 5 for each color for a color block look. Trim the strips to the length that you like.
Step 3: Hang the Tie On Halloween wreath
Hang the wreath on the door on the wall whatever you prefer. How simple is that?
