What you will Need: How to Make Dollar Tree Autumn Candle Holders
- 4 Dollar Tree wine glasses
- 2 packages of Dollar Tree faux leaves
- 4 Dollar Tree battery candles
- 4 mini pinecones
- 8 Dollar Tree acorns
- Jute Twine
- Adhesive back letters
- Orange paint — I used Craft Smart Orange Spice
- Hot Glue
Step 1: Paint the Glasses
I used matte acrylic paint and painted the glasses using a brush. Let the glasses dry completely. Next, I sponged on another layer of paint to get full and consistent coverage. Let dry completely. Use another coat if you think it is necessary.

Step 2: Add the Twine
Place a dab of hot glue where the stem meets the bowel. Place one end of the twine on the glue. Wrap the twine all the way around the stem. Glue along the way using the hot glue until the entire stem is covered.

Step 3: Glue on the leaves
Hot glue the leaves on what will be the front of the glass where the stem meets the bowel. Add glue to the side of the bowel so that the leaves wrap down the bowel part of the glass. Add a couple of layers of leaves until it is where you would like it.

Step 4: Add the Embellishments
On the front of the glass add your embellishments. I added acorns, small Dollar tree pumpkins and gourds as well as a flower. Each of my glasses was decorated differently

Step 5: Add the Letters
You can purchase adhesive letters at Dollar Tree for this part of the project. I decided to use my Cricut for my letters. If you have a Cricut you can make your own. Add one letter per glass. I spelled the word FALL on mine.

Step 6: Decorate the Candles
I added some Dollar Tree ribbon that I aged using Distress Oxide in walnut. I wrapped each candle with the ribbon and a piece of twine. I then added a bow and a mini acorn to finish it off.
