How to Make a Halloween Bat Pillow

Use the free PDF pattern to make this Halloween bat pillow for your home’s decor this Halloween season. This is a really spooky fun halloween project to make. It is also a beginner sewing project that anyone with basic sewing skills can make in no time. Use different fabrics to really spice up your decor. I used some left over bat fabric that I purchased from ___. Of course you could head to JOANN Fabric & Craft Stores, Amazon Fabrics or onlinefabricstore.net to get exactly what you need for your bat pillow. What you will Need: How to Make a Halloween Bat Pillow

Step 1: Print out the Pattern

The pattern is a PDF pattern. Print it out and tape it together joining the black lines.

Step 2: Cut out the Pieces

Cut two pieces of the pattern piece so that they are in reverse of each other.

Step 3: Stitch the Pieces Together

With right sides together stitch the pieces together using a 1/4″ seam allowance leaving an opening for turning along the way.

Step 4: Turn Right Sides Out

Turn the pieces right sides out

Step 5: Stuff the Bat Pillow

Using the polyester fiberfill stuff the pillow as much as you would like.

Step 6: Close the Opening

Close the opening using ladder stitch. You have now finished your Halloween Bat Pillow. If you are unfamiliar with ladder stitch check out this video.
