How to Upcycle Jeans into a Handbag

I am in my final jeans upcycling project for this round of jeans projects. I have decided to make another upcycled jeans handbag that is simple to make and uses the top part of the jeans. It is a fun and functional simple sewing project that a strong beginner or intermediate sewist should be able to accomplish. I really wanted to keep that jeans look for this bag so I left all of the pockets. This is just one of many jeans projects that I have done if you would like to see more check out these.

I used an old pair pf jeans and some quilting cotton for the lining that I purchased at JOANN Fabric & Craft Stores. Of course you can head to fabric.com or onlinefabricstore.net to get your lining fabric for this project.
